Dear friends, I can't express how excited I am and how grateful I am to be on this church planting journey with you.
You know, I'm sure, that there's something very special about being on mission for Christ as we are among the first group of gathered believers in this new church.
As we're on this journey together, I want to commend two resources to you.
First, last Saturday, I interviewed Rev. Morrie Lawing on The Covenant Church Show regarding church plants and church planting. Rev. Lawing has worshiped in a lot of churches, and he has been the church planter of two churches. We spoke for about an hour about what church planting is, and where Covenant Church is headed. I can't wait for you to watch this interview.
Second, and perhaps more importantly, the sermon Rev. Lawing preached on Sunday evening is not to be missed. This was, and is, a great encouragement for us all to be on mission for Christ in Burbank. It's available for streaming at the link below.

Where is Covenant Church headed? Wherever Christ leads us, to the glory of God! One day, Lord wiling, Covenant will be an established church that's ready, willing, and able to plant another church nearby.
