Live — updates as purchases are reported

How It Works

Three simple steps

01

Pick an item

Choose anything below that still needs purchases — the bars show exactly where help is needed most. Each card's quantity comes straight from our Amazon list.

02

Purchase it

Every item links straight to the product. Buying through our Amazon registry ships it to us and marks it purchased there — or pick it up at any store and bring it along on a Sunday.

Open the Amazon registry →
03

Mark it here

Tap “I bought this” on the item so the tracker updates for everyone — whichever way you purchased.

The count is on the honor system — mark only what you've actually purchased. Bought something and made a mistake? Use Undo right after, or let us know and we'll correct it. In-store purchases can come along with you any Sunday morning. We ask for a name and phone number with each report so we can follow up if something doesn't arrive in time; see our privacy policy.

Our Neighbors

Two campuses, right down the road

Within a couple of miles of where Covenant Church meets for worship, two colleges fill up with students every fall.

University of Redlands, Los Angeles

Burbank has known it as Woodbury University. It began in 1884 as a business college in downtown Los Angeles, and moved to Burbank in 1987, onto the 22-acre campus it has occupied ever since. This summer the school completed a merger with the University of Redlands that had been underway since 2024, and the campus is now the University of Redlands, Los Angeles. The Woodbury name continues in its schools of architecture, business, and design. The campus, its programs, and its students remain right where they have always been.

Fewer than a thousand students study across its four schools of business, architecture, liberal arts, and media and design, with roughly eight students for every faculty member. Most commute in from around the Valley. About a quarter live on campus, in two residence halls.

New York Film Academy

A couple of miles the other way, on Riverside Drive in Burbank's media district, is the Los Angeles campus of the New York Film Academy. It opened in 1999 on the Universal Studios backlot and has since become the school's main campus, where students earn certificates and degrees in filmmaking, screenwriting, animation, game design, photography, and acting. Production workshops still take students over to the Universal backlot nearby.

The Film Academy has no dormitories. Its housing office helps students find apartments around the neighborhood instead, which means many of them arrive needing to set up a whole home, not just a dorm room. Towels, a laundry basket, something to sleep under.

Items need to be in hand by Sunday, August 23, when we'll put the baskets together as a church following Morning Worship. Fall terms begin the week after, with the University of Redlands, Los Angeles starting classes on Monday, August 31. The hope is that a student walking into a new room finds towels, a blanket, pens and notebooks, and some evidence that a church down the road is glad that they chose Burbank for education.

Covenant Church is on mission as a church of prayer, worship, and love for our city. Both of those campuses are part of our city. A laundry basket packed with ordinary things lets students know that we're thinking of them, praying for them, and inviting them to be a part of this growing church.

Students, You're Invited

Whichever campus you're at, you have a church a couple of miles away.

We worship every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM and again in the evening at 6:00 PM, at 160 S Victory Blvd. Come as you are, and sit wherever you like. On the last Sunday of every month the whole church stays for lunch together, and there is always a place at that table for a student. If you'd like someone to look for when you walk in, write to us and we'll be watching for you.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
