2025 Holiday in the Park Volunteer Info (This Friday!)

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9, ESV)

Dear friends,

What a wonderful opportunity God has given this Friday, November 21, for us to love our city together.

Holiday in the Park is an annual event in Burbank when all lanes on a significant stretch of Magnolia Blvd. are closed to car traffic. Vendors and organizations set up booths on Magnolia, and 40,000+ people come out to shop and/or enjoy the atmosphere.

Who's Needed to Volunteer?

You! Covenant Church could really use your help this year. It'll be a great time together. If you're reading this, there's an opportunity for you!

If you can't make it in-person, please make plans to pray before, during, and after Holiday in the Park.

What Are We Doing Together?

Just like in 2024, Covenant Church will set up a Photo Booth for taking and printing family photos. It's a special ministry to be a part the Christmas season for so many families.

What Will I Be Doing as a Volunteer?

We hope to rotate between the following opportunities. No experience is necessary to do a great job in any of these.

  1. iPad Photographer
  2. Camera Photographer
  3. Photo printer
  4. Photo frame decorator
  5. Greeter
  6. Setup
  7. Breakdown

Covenant Church Volunteer Shuttle

Dave Duke from our congregation has volunteered to be a shuttle driver in his car for church volunteers so you won't need to worry about finding parking near the booth. You can leave your car and Dave will return you to it later on.

The Dave shuttle will leave from and return to the studio where we meet for worship on Sundays. Please park your car only in spaces marked "studio."

Dave Shuttle 1, 3:30 PM
Dave Shuttle 2, 5:30 PM
Dave Shuttle 3, 7:00 PM
Dave Shuttle Return, 9:15 PM

Important! Please let Pastor Brooks (818-237-4251) or Dave Duke know if you're planning to take The Dave Shuttle. Dave will only operate the shuttle when he knows that volunteers are planning to get a ride from him.
